Harta stelara cu cele mai apropiate 1000 stele din catalogul Hipparcos .
Satelitul Hipparcos a masurat cu precizie directia (coordonatele ceresti), deplasarea aparenta (paralaxa stelara, si astfel distanta), culoarea (clasa spectrala) si luminozitatea (magnitudinea vizuala) pentru 118218 stele (cateva nu au putut fi masurate corect la toti acesti parametri) in toate directiile pana la cateva sute de ani lumina distanta.
Harta stelara cu cele mai apropiate 10000 stele din catalogul Hipparcos.
Harta stelara cu cele mai apropiate 30000 stele din catalogul Hipparcos.
Aceasta imagine este o harta stelara care arata toate 118218 stele din lista Hipparcos.
Stelele albastre sunt stele luminoase si formeaza un arc in imagine care este planul galaxiei noastre vazut dintr-o parte.
Planul galaxiei pare in forma de arc fiindca harta stelara arata stelele de pe tot cerul in toate directiile de la polul nord la polul sud, astfel centrul hartii este in fata iar marginile din dreapta si stanga sunt in spatele nostru.
Harta stelara are forma eliptica fiindca asa reprezinta suprafata unei sfere corect de la ecuator la poli chiar daca forma este unpic distorsionata.
Aceasta forma eliptica este usor de realizat - ea este un cerc cu diametrul orizontal dublat ca sa arate si meridianele din partea din spate a sferei.
Cele mai apropiate 1000 stele de pe cer
Aceasta tabela arata cele mai apropiate 1000 stele de pe cer din lista Hipparcos sortate dupa distanta de steaua noastra (soarele).
Fiindca majoritatea stelelor din univers, peste 80%, poate chiar peste 99%, sunt stele pitice rosii, acestea nu se vad cu ochiul liber decat de la distanta mica de ele, vazute din o nava interstelara sau o planeta in jurul lor.
Astfel, majoritatea stelelor din aceasta lista nu se vad cu ochiul liber pe cer.

O parte din aceste stele nu sunt vizibile din Romania fiindca ele se afla in toate directiile pe tot cerul de la polul nord la polul sud.
In conditii obisnuite, din tara noastra se pot vedea stele de la polul nord (declinatie +90 grade) pana la declinatie -30 grade sud de ecuator.
